Styles P: Says It Blows His Mind To Work With Artists In His Phantom Zone..

his Phantom Zone.
“It’s admiration and respect for people who do what you do,” Styles said about all the music he’s been doing with Ghostface Killahand Beanie Sigel lately. All the guys have cameos on each other’s albums. “These are dudes I love. I see them and build with them. I go crazy when I pop in their stuff. You gotta keep what you’re doing alive with people who do what you do and love this art of ours. These are dudes I could rock with. We all got together and we all got joints together. It’s really keeping it hip-hop.”
Beanie Sigel appears on “U Ain’t Ready” from Styles’ Tuesday release Super Gangster (Extraordinary Gentleman), while Ghostface checks in on “Star of the State.”
“The track sounds like a ’90s old-school Wu-Tang joint,” S.P. described. “It had a nasty, hallway vibe. I said, ‘I gotta call Ghost for this.’ On the Beanie joint, Dame Grease produced it. We’re going back to that formula, man, to make people lose it. Straight hip-hop.”
All three just finished a few videos together. Styles P. broaches race relations on “Cause I’m Black,” where he questions why New York officers didn’t go to jail for murdering an unarmed Sean Bell, while Michael Vick is doing time for killing canines. That’s just the start of talk on the record. Black Thought has his own ideas, rhyming, “This system failed, where Mychal Bell might as well be Sean/ Genocide, Jena Six, guilty till we innocent.”
“I’ve been seeing Black Thought for years, and we always talk,” Styles said. “I think he’s a hell of an MC. He’s incredible. He’s great all around, but he’s an incredible lyricist. We was building at a tribute to Rakim, and I was like, ‘I’d love to do a joint with you.’ Anytime I see Black ThoughtMos DefCommonTalibKweli, I can build with them dudes. Me and Talib, Jadakiss andBlack Thought, we had a mean building session one day.”
Max B of Jim Jones‘ Byrd Gang does the chorus on Styles’ “Holiday.” That record is all over the Net. “The Max B joint, that was me showing them something different,” S.P. said. “That was a flow I never used. I be having flows in my head; I just keep ‘em quiet. But it was an incredible beat, something to go left on, so I decided to come left. I always listen to Max B. He always goes a little more uptempo or slower than what he did on ‘Holiday.’ I like Max’s hooks and raps. I needed him to go somewhere he ain’t go before ’cause I’m going somewhere I ain’t been. It’s like magic, when you take two people on a beat that’s usually not them. I didn’t think you would think of me or Max on that beat. I said, ‘Let me throw them off.’ I wanted something that was different but keep it where I’m from. Nobody can pinpoint what kind of joint that is.”
Styles’ video for the lead single, “Blow Ya Mind,” is one of the more unorthodox clips this year. “In this day and age, you gotta make something to play on the radio if you’re going to get any type of success,” he said of the record, which Swizz Beatz produced. “I don’t like to be anything other than who I am. I felt that song was a fitting joint everybody could relate to.
“For the video,” he added, “I felt like I should put my career in my own hands now. I always have ideas and thoughts for my video and other people’s videos. I’m independent now. I don’t feel I should go to anybody else to put my ideas out. I knew the order of the shots and how I wanted it to look. I didn’t want to do what everybody else was doing in their video. I was thinking about the things that blow my mind, things that interest me. You see the bike riders doing tricks, the sharks in the water. I thought of things that trip me out. I be tripping out sometimes. I said, ‘Let me put it all down.’ ”
Mr. Sex Tape himself, Ray J, appears on “Let’s Go,” and Akonbrings his lauded resume to “Got My Eyes on You.” On “Da 80s,” the Ghost boasts about not even needing a hook because his lyrics are so strong.
“I’m just trying to be the MC and come with good, old-fashioned street soul music. I really feel like the ’90s era,” he said, talking about the vibe of the effort, which marks his debut on the independent powerhouse, Koch Records. “It’s like my first album as far as hunger, but it’s way better as far as maturity and thought pattern. Even on the extremely hard songs, I threw conscious things in it. What caused that emotion? What was I thinking? I tried to go back to the ’90s, when MCing was MCing.”

Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Look-A-Like Sex Tape???

Kanye West and his new fly girl Kim Kardashian have so much in common than you think, well Kanye has a sex tape too, RadarOnline is exclusively reporting, its with a Kim Kardashian look-a-like!
Radar reports: The tape is nearly 20 minutes long and appears to have been shot in a hotel room with an unidentified female who clearly states at the beginning of the video that she’s 18 years old.
The woman also confesses to Kanye that she is married and claims, “My husband and I don’t have sex anymore… that’s why I’m here!”
With her bodacious curves, dusky skin and long black hair the woman is a definite dead ringer for Kim Kardashian.
RadarOnline has seen the tape in full and can verify without a doubt that it is Kanye in the footage and we have published a screen grab.
During the couple’s steamy sex romp, they never kiss and don’t interact any further than simply doing the deed, in various positions throughout and with Kanye wearing a condom.
Kanye is clearly aware the romp is being filmed because you can see that he’s the one who set up the camera in the beginning and at the end he looks directly into it before switching it off.
According to a San Fernando sex industry insider, the video was shot sometime shortly before Kanye started dating Kim and he is terrified of the tape getting out.
“The sex tape is being shopped right now and there’s a lot of interest, but Kanye is freaking out!” the insider revealed.
“He doesn’t want this tape out and will do anything to make sure it stays private”.
“In my expert opinion Kanye’s performance far outweighs Kim’s!” the insider states.

Stephen Goodly Interview & Video

Sometimes talent must be worked and crafted, in other cases its just God given ability. This is defiantly the case with the young and talented Stephen Goodly. He is quickly becoming a rising star with his soothing vocals and his rhythmic dance abilities. Probably the most amazing thing about this kid is that he’s still in middle school writing his own music, that’s a virtue that cannot be over looked.  We caught up with the young star recently to get his thoughts on various topics. You can read the full interview below:
1.Where are you from?
I was born in New Orleans.
2.How Did You Get Started With Singing?
I actually began when I was five in my church choir.  When I was twelve I began writing music.  I gave my songs to my former band director, Lloyd Harris and he set me up with Fitchfield  Records LLC.
3. What are your future plans?
To continue studying music and to excel in school. I’m studying music with the Metairie School of Music, Tiptina’s Jazz Internship Program, and Warren Easton High School, where I am a freshmen.
4.When will you have new music for us?
I’m going back into the studio this month.  I’m hoping a new single will be out in a couple of months.
5.How do you separate yourself from other young artists?
I write my own music.  It’s pure and positive.
6.Who influenced your style?
Thanks to my mom, I love all kinds of music.  My musical influences include Usher, Maroon Five, Neyo, Kanye West,  the Cash Money Crew, and even Al Green.  I listen to it all.
7.Who do you want to work with in the future?
I would like to do a duet with Nicki Minaj, but who wouldn’t.
8.Have you always enjoyed music?
My whole life.  My dad had me on tape humming “The Flight of the Bumblebee” at nine months.  They had me listening to everything.
9.Do you write your own music?
Yes, I write all the time. A lot of what Ive written is not on paper yet.  Im still piecing it together in my head.
10.Also, where can your fans listen to more of your music?
I will be releasing another song “Fall” on You Tube within the next two months.

Rick Ross Talks About “3 Kings” With Dre & Jay-Z

Rick Ross delivered what is the most anticipated track off God Forgives, I Don’t, “3 Kings” with two huge features from Dr. Dre & Jay-Z.
While doing the promotional rounds for his album, Rozay spoke to Funkmaster Flex about how “3 Kings” came together. It turns out Ross linked up with Dre through a mutual friend.
“I actually spoke with D.O.C. from the West Coast and D.O.C. told me Dre was a huge fan,” Rozay said. “I’ve been a fan of big homie’s and I had been expressing that openly for while.”
He continued to explain that he followed up with Dre on the phone, “I got on the phone with Dre, he kept his word, he came down to Miami. We got in the studio. When he walked into the studio for the first time, I was just so excited. We knocked out five songs that first night. We worked on his album as well, so you can expect some big records from us.” He added, “I feel we made some incredible music.”
“Homie gave me a lot of tips. That’s the big O.G. I really admire him,” Ross said of the legendary producer.
As for getting Hov on the record, Ross says that was no big deal, “When it comes to Jay, that’s my family. I respect dawg. I’m a soldier for life.”

Rihanna Admits She Still Loves Chris Brown

Rihanna got everything off her chest during her emotional interview with Oprah on Aug. 19th, on Oprah’s TV network.
She told Oprah, while tears streamed down her face:
“I truly love him. The main thing for me is that he’s at peace. I’m not at peace if he’s a little unhappy or still lonely. I care. It actually matters that he finds peace. I still love him, I think he was the love of my life. He was the first love and I see that he loved me the same way. We were very young and very spontaneous.”
Sources report Chris Brown texted Rihanna after he watched her cry on national television and apologized and confessed his love to her.
“Afterwards he got some water and was like ‘you know I love her and we’re going to get back [together] one day. Then, he sent her a text and thanked her for respecting him on the interview and he told her we was sorry for everything and that he loves her,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

Nicki Minaj Thanks President Obama

Nicki Minaj nearly took it far with a rap verse of a track she recently collaborated with her boss Lil Wayne on “Dedication 4″ mixtape.
She raps:
“I’m a Republican voting for Mitt Romney, you lazy b*tches are f*cking up the economy”.
Mitt Romney is President Obama’s adversary, a Republican Party for President of the United States in the 2012 election.
During an interview of President Obama with Orlando, Florida radio station, he was questioned about the matter and his response to Nicki Minaj’s verse was:
“I’m not sure that is actually what happened. I think she had a song on there, a little rap that said that. But, she likes to play different characters. So I don’t know what’s going on there.”
Nicki Minaj then took it to twitter to tweet her joy that President Obama got her “humor” that everyone else seemingly took for truth.
“Ha! Thank you for understanding my creative humor & sarcasm Mr. President, the smart ones always do… *sends love & support* @barackobama.”
She also followed up with another tweet:
“Awesome! Now I can tell my grandchildren that the 1st black president of the United States took the time to address a Nicki Minaj question.”
